Being able to recline comfortably in a zero gravity, stress-free position while working at a computer is a real life saver, the pain you experienced for years is no longer keeping you from work. But what about the paper, books, and reference materials you need while you work at the computer. How do you access these materials from a reclined position?
In a typical computer desk you will have a tabletop with a leg on each side and a crossbar underneath the desktop connecting the two legs. This crossbar is essential to strengthening and stabilizing the desk, however, it is an obstruction to the knees, shins, and feet when in a reclined position. The Zero gravity Workstation 5 has a unique design that solves the crossbar problem by moving the crossbar high above the desktop and tying it into the tubular frame that supports the whole desk. This frame also serves as the support structure for the ErgoQuest COPYSTAND-1 and BOOKHOLDER-1 that can keep all your important documents within comfortable reach while in a reclined position.
Because the Zero Gravity Workstation 1 has no obstructions, and its height range goes to 54”, it can easily straddle most treadmills. Now you can work at the computer and be productive while working out on a treadmill.
The ZGW-5 features a 1.25” thick 24” x 60” tabletop with laminated surface. The tabletop is supported on both sides by motorized columns which are attached to a tubular frame that eliminates all obstructions both under the desktop and at the floor level. The motorized columns move the tabletop from a height of 27” to 54”. Changing from a sitting to a standing to a reclining position is as easy as pushing a button. The ERGODESK-5 also features a motorized platform that tilts the monitor(s) from 0 degrees to a 55 degree angle. Adjusting both the desk height and monitor tilt can even be done while in the reclined position.
